The Chimborazo Fruit & Vegetable Community Garden was created to enhance the quality of life for the people of our local community by increasing sustainable urban food production by teaching people how to grow food, and to create a supportive community where they can share tools, skills and inspiration.
When community members have access to local land for the purpose of growing food, social justice, economic security and community political participation are strengthened. Ad people work together to grow food and re-connect with the land, communities and families grow strong, hopeful, confident and healthy.
Join us in recconecting by volunteering in the garden, learning some new skills and recieving a delicious ingredient to add to your next meal!
Create something delicious in our fully stocked communal kitchen. Large enough to accomodate you and all your friends and located right next to our outdoor dining area.
You'll find plenty of pots, pans, plates and cutlery as well as free spices, sugar, salt and cooking oils in our large sun-drenched kitchen to make breakfast, lunch and dinner as stress-free as possible.
Where you'll find home-brewed kombucha on tap, locally sourced and roasted coffee, fresh smoothies & juices to energize you for your day.
