This site is similar of like Pinterest but strictly showing interesting, great and avant-garde design. The site follows a very strict grid which gives that clean minimal feeling. Again appealing to me. The hierarchy is very well defined. The single page scrolling makes exploring the site easy because you just keep scrolling down until you reach the bottom. The most interesting thing is the search bar though. When you click search a nearly black opaque page pops up over the home screen, with only a flashing vertical text line indicating you to type. It is very unique, clean, and an unexpected design feature that makes searching on this website fun compared to the tiny search bar in the upper left right hand corner of most other sites. Designinspiration.net also searches within its own site rather than having google pop up.
